Le Blanc makes lifebars disappear, and 2 videos

I bought Le Blanc a couple of days ago, and I must say, she is a very fun champion. She can do crazy bursts so crazy she makes her joke of making your lifebar disappear more than just a joke. i haven't played a burst champion extensively. i do have akali, but she can also sustain some damage with her low cooldown mark of the assassin and auto-attack combo. with le blanc, she distortions in, hits the double sigil, and usually w out, unless the target is nearly dead and with that you hit the enemy champ with ethereal chains.

Also, I just recently uploaded a couple of videos of some amazing moments playing with friends on a normal pre-made. the first one is a Swain escape mechanic against Nocturne. I thought it was pretty funny that Swain just limps away casually after getting ulted by Nocturne AND Caitlyn.

EDIT: According to xPRTx, Nocturne didn't actually do damage. He flew onto the Nevermove, but only Caitlyn was able to hit her ulti.

And for the second video, my friend Ryangi (IGN: BatboiIsAwful) bought Ashe and played her for the first time, but he did pretty well with her. He's not the guy who plays these kinds of games, but he still never ceases to amaze me how good he is. We were losing a match but not by much, until he hit a crossmap arrow that stuns Mordekaiser for max duration and slows 3 other champs, allowing my friend Jai Huynh as Katarina to nuke all of them with Death Lotus, getting an easy tripProxy-Connection: keep-alive

kill, then cleaning up Mordekaiser with my taunt as Shen.

More Grizz, Killstreak Shen, and Samurai Akali Madness!

Seriously, everytime I kill someone with Caitlyn's Ace in the Hole, I'll have to yell out "YOU AIN'T GRIZZ BABY" or something related to those famous Call of Duty players.

Anyways, I'm going to be sad when Caitlyn is taken out of rotation. I'm really enjoying playing her. With my games, she's actually a viable late game champ, as long as she keeps up with DPS. Here's a bit of info on my build:

Ghost/Flash

Armor Penetration Marks
Mana Per 5s per level Glyphs
Attack Speed Seals

Doran's Blade - Mainly for a 1v1 lane / Long Sword + Potions - 1v2/Duo Lanes
Berserker Greaves
The Brutalizer
Black Cleaver
Phantom Dancer / Stark's Fervor (only if there is another DPS champion that needs it)
The Bloodthirster
Infinity Edge (after selling Brutalizer)

Viable 6th item (sell Doran's Blade)
Offense - Madred's Bloodrazors, Bloodthirster, Phantom Dancer
Defense - Frozen Mallet, Frozen Heart, Banshee's Veil

Masteries: 21/0/9

She's a very fun champion, and if used correctly with the right team comp, she can actually destroy tanks decently, and squishies are just totally helpless.

Here's a game I had where I went 16-0-9 with her: http://www.mediafire.com/?eeh8dyptxdcqh66

I've seen some pretty bad Shens out there, and they will usually justify that he is a tank. Well, I shall prove you wrong. Ok, maybe most of these kills are KS, but a kill is a kill, and with Shen, that's pretty ridiculous.

Finally, I got this awesome Akali custom skin. I actually bought Nurse Akali, but I thought this skin looked so much better. She is donned in full samurai armor, and her idle/standing animation has actually been changed. The spell icons have also been changed for her, and they look amazing.

As for Akali herself, she's... weird, in a sense. I know I should be used to a champ without a CC seeing I've mained Garen long ago. However, Garen was a viable tank (when Sunfire stacking was not patched), and he was beefy. Akali is pretty squishy (not what you think)

Grizz Status!!

**I'll post my replay files here if you want to see them. You need to download LOL Replays from http://www.leaguereplays.com/ to watch them.

I've played Caitlyn a bit more, experimenting with different builds, and she really shines if you have a high AD stack with AS. She plays a bit like Ashe, but more of a support role than an actual ranged carry. She can also act as cleanup with her ulti, provided the projectile doesn't get blocked from a smart champion or a clusterfuck of them.

Game #1, I was just solo queueing Normal. I laned solo top against a Kog'Maw and Caitlyn. I was horribly harrassed there, and got my tower at about 6 mins. It's a pretty sad sight, but we definitely rebounded. We took down their towers thereafter, without another one down for us for a while. In this game, I had some fun with my ulti. I think this is really the first game where I started to learn Caitlyn's skills and their effective use, as well as the fact that a Frozen Mallet is a weird choice for a ranged carry. She really doesn't need a slow proc early game, and late game, you end up sniping them with your ulti for tons of damage if you got something like Infinity Edge or Black Cleaver/s.

Game #2, I was playing with my friend Jai Huynh. I laned mid against Le Blanc, and that totally got me into a bad mindset. I got recked by LB when I played Ryze, so I thought it would be the same deal here. I was about to get a Long Sword to start (early Brutalizer), but I thought I'd get extra health, so I got a Doran's Blade. Great idea it was, because I was able to stay in lane till LV6, where I bp'd back for pots and a couple of Long Swords. This is when my damage started to rack up, and when I got my Brutalizer, enemy champions have been getting a pretty nice nuke from yours truly.
When our mid teamfighting started, someone yelled at me for "staring" at the enemy champs, saying I ignored Yi for a kill. I did blow my ulti on him, but he ended up surviving with 7hp. I could have gone in there and autoattacked, but I'm not as reckless (I wouldn't say reckless, but more of "high risk, high reward" mindset) like Jai.
As we got 4 kills down with me and a Malphite that bp'd, I was about to bp, when thankfully, one of my teammates reminded me that we had 4 kills on their team, and since Udyr was the only one left, I could kill their inhibitor. By this time, I had so much AD and AS that I took down the inhib fairly quickly. The game ended in an ace, and I got some awesome Grizz shots in the game.
Also, Jai gave me some awesome feedback after the game. The build works, for sure, but it's obviously a case of PEBKAC. I wasn't pushing with the group enough, nor staying long enough to just auto-attack. I always instinctively run whenever I see a sea of red nameplates, even in a teamfight. I never have been able to get rid of that, but I'll definitely be pushing Caitlyn's limits next time.

New Champion Rotation: Trying out Caitlyn and Ryze

I've been wanting to try out Caitlyn for a while now, and I was pretty stoked when she got into the rotation this week. However, I did not expect her to be an easy champ, and it showed in my first few games.

My first game was a disaster, though we still won (I blame my buddy for ending it so early, 20min surrender). 0/0/1. This game helped me get the hang of her Q and passive. My 2nd game was just as terrible, 0/2/5. I will have to blame that on last game where we didn't even have one teamfight, so I wasn't sure how Caitlyn would perform. My 3rd game was my good one, 6/4/5. I started pushing her to the limit, making sure I know when to back out and when to keep fighting. Even when you have a squishy champ like Nocturne at 1/4 health against your 2/3, 1v1 isn't really her thing (learned that the hard way).

I'll keep playing her during the week, while doing some matches with my "mains," namely Irelia, Shen, and Marisa.... I mean Lux (though I haven't used her since a week after I bought her).

Ryze, well... he's a totally different story. I had to lane solo against Le Blanc, who in turn nuked half my health, and outleveled me terribly. His combo confuses the crap out of me, especially since I'm not used to someone who can pull a skill every 2 seconds (Irelia's Bladesurge goes up to 4 seconds). Well, I'll give him a try this week as well, but I doubt I'll solo lane.

It still makes me laugh that after some abyssmal games, I went 14/1/9 with Irelia, 10 killstreak. OP much? Nah, I heard she's just a bit more balanced in high ELO.

ADDENDUM:
Just a bit of theorycrafting, I'm thinking maybe I could stack 3 items on AD (for her Q and R), and some AS (just to proc her passive much faster). I'm not sure if AS would be beneficial in a teamfight anyways, since it takes 8 shots to proc her passive. Any thoughts on builds with her?

I went back to MW2 and...

Jeebus, how do people play this game? I swear, 90% of my deaths were from:
- Laggy commando knifers
- Campers
- Commando knifers
- Laggy Campers
- Did I mention lag?

In all seriousness, yes, it's fast-paced, but to throw away balance out of the window since day 1 is just terrible. I had enough decency to use just the "slightly overpowered" guns (aka FAMAS or FAMAMAMAMAMAS), whilst everyone else ran M1014s (or I should say "camped M1014s"), Akimbo Glocks, and noobtubes (which I felt like got nerfed because I never did get killed by one, only hitmarkered).

My only good game this morning

Anyways, I'm uninstalling it, and maybe reinstalling Black Ops... or just playing Crysis 2 today (though I won't be actually buying it till next month, SP Only for now).

In other news, looks like a lot of shows got delayed this week. I'm really really antsy for Madoka Magica EP11, but relief efforts to those in Japan are much more important than this show. During the weekend, Countdown321 had their 14th Video Games Festival. I did not tune in yesterday, but when I logged off Sunday night, they had made roughly $1020 and beat 42 games for a relief fund. You guys rock, and thanks to all those who donated. I would have definitely donated, but I'm pushing my budget right now.

Not sure if this will be my only post today, but we'll see. I've got tons of homework =w=

Oh, before I forget:

Jeebus, another blog?

A lot of people may probably not know that I used to run ROFLOtaku. It really didn't turn out great, as I was too neglectful of it. I enjoy writing blogs, but it's just that I forget to do so, and I get so distracted with many things.

Anyways, you might wonder what you may see here. Here's a list:
- Anime Reviews by episode. Definitely gonna start with Madoka EP11, and once one of the Spring anime start.
- Daily (hopefully) posts of various games. Currently, League of Legends will always be there. I always play at least one game a day. Right now, I'm looking at Crysis 2, Dragon Age 1/2, and some Shogun 2: Total War.
- Various J-Culture posts. J-Rock, J-Merch, etc.

I'm definitely hoping I get to do this more often. I'll keep myself reminded yo.
